Tenor Dresden Ramos has been described as a young opera singer with a pure lyric-leggiero voice. This Holiday Season, he will be performing for three consecutive nights in a Classical Christmas Concert at the Royal Court Theatre.
Dresden Ramos has been performing in different theaters around the world. Last summer, he staged in two Mozart Operas: Don Ottavio in Don Giovanni in Jerusalem, Israel and Don Basilio in Le Nozze di Figaro in Prague, Czech Republic. Among his notable performances include, Monostatos in Mozart's Die Zauberflöte and Ferrando in Mozart's Cosi fan tutte. In addition, he has held numerous concerts and recitals around the world, including two in Denmark.
The upcoming Classical Christmas Concert will showcase Dresden's vocal prowess as he perform a wide range of music from the crowd pleasing arias and art songs to the traditional and well loved Christmas carols.
Dresden completed Master in Opera and Master in Cassical Performance-Voice at the Liceu Conservatory in Barcelona, Spain. Last year, he studied Master in the Lied at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya, also in Barcelona. He has also received coachings from some of the respected names in the opera world namely; Teresa Berganza, Raina Kabaivanska, Francisco Araiza, Javier Camarena, Lawrence Brownlee, and Eduard Gimenez.
Dresden Ramos is accompanied by Pianist Vagn Soerensen, who is associated with the Royal Danish Music Conservatory as accompanist for strings and brass instruments. On many occasions, Vagn Soerensen has been a pianist at opera concerts around the country. In addition, Vagn Soerensen has been the chaplain of small orchestras at various concerts. Vagn Soerensen was educated in 1984 from the Royal Danish Conservatory of Music.
